A tourist attraction in your city...

 Hi everyone!  I want to tell to us a good excersice that my english teacher give me to improve my abilities on that language: Choose a tourist site in your city, your surroundings, it could be your neighborhood, or your hometown and describe it.


 I choosed my hometown called Paipa. This city is a very atractive place for tourism. I talked about the Soshagota lake (by the way, it is an artificial lake) that gives an special charming to this small city. 

 

I also wrote about the hot springs that we can enjoy any time. That hot springs haves an healty and relaxing propieties thats make a very popular attraction to us ant the tourist.

I ended up talking about food. Honestly, our food is insanely good (but I’m pretty sure that’s not why I can’t lose weight).

  In another activity, the teacher decided that the topic of the brochure would be advertising a higher education institution, similar to SENA (preferably as if it were a competitor), offering the Software Analysis and Development program. The students must “sell” that institution through the brochure. They will create a name for the institution, showcase the program’s features, price, and every possible point in the document that helps promote the program. Chronicle

     The character I chose for my chronicle was my maternal grandmother, Catalina Rodriguez. In that chronicle, I talked about her life, the various situations she had to face since childhood, and several tragedies she had to endure almost on her own. Her life was a beautiful example of resilience and love. Fortunately, she was able to enjoy her last decades surrounded by a loving family that misses her and lives according to her teachings. We miss you so much, Grandma!
